Room B5

This is my classroom on the first day of school. I started this year with 33 students. I have 23 fourth graders and 10 fifth graders.

I relabeled my library this year with cute labels that were designed by a friend of mine – Molly. You can purchase these labels on Teacher Pay Teacher or visit her at lessonswithlaughter.blogstop.com.

Finally, my favorite addition was trash cans that I put at each table. Amazingly, the students use them and I have less trash on the floor. Plus when I am walking around, I will pick up trash and I have 8 mini-trash cans in the room so I am not always walking to the ones by the door. Thanks to my partner LeAnn for such a great idea!
